All the information in these tables was based on a minimum of 5 shot averages.  All trajectories are based on a sight height of 1.5 in (average for scopes) and rifle sighted in for maximum point blank range on a 6-inch vital area, leaves a little extra margin for error on a whitetail. The velocities listed in these tables are means and have been adjusted for true muzzle velocity based on BC listed. The Recoil figures listed are based on a gun weight of 8.5 pounds, weight of the bullet/sabot combination and weight of powder charge (not volume). The wind drift is based on 5 mph, this value is linear so 10 mph is double, etc.

One thing that should be noted if you are considering using a muzzleloader at extended ranges is the amount of wind drift. When you go beyond 100 yards, it is a factor to consider. Even with the QT40s shown above, a 15 mph wind is going to move the bullet almost a foot at 200 yards.
